You people are AMAZING!!! Seriously, I can't even thank you all enough for your continued support as I blog, it means so much to me. The friendships I've made here have been unreal. This place has been such a creative outlet for me. I love sharing inspiration with you daily and when I can, I love offering up some special giveaways for all you lovely people. This is such a beautiful bowl for a beautiful blog! My favorite part of spring is waking up to birds singing and a nice cool breeze from open windows. I love sitting in my chair having coffee enjoying the birds hopping around outside.

I love Spring because it fills me with a sense of renewal and excitement after a gray cold Winter. I get to do the things I love most: garden, long bike rides and long walks with my husband and dog, eat out on the front porch, have the windows open and enjoy longer sunny days. I feel most balanced in the Spring.

I'm a true Taurus and my birthday is, of course, in the springtime so besides celebrating one more year of birth with cake [CAKE!!] I love that growing, worm churning, mossy, earth smell of spring first thing in the morning as I head off to work downtown. The worms in the ground doing their job turning the dirt and chewing up everything down below for the roots that support the trees that blossom, leave and sprout. Poetic, no? Seriously though: I love spring and it brings me out of my funk even if April is full of showers for May's flowers. Heck, I live in Portland so it's always showering here :)

I always forget where I plant my flowers or where beautiful plants are, but once spring comes around they pop right back up. Right through the layer of leaves and winter and up into the sun. The second best thing would be the spring produce. Is there anything better than in season asparagus? My sources say no.
